ICYE / CSM Morocco (Chantiers Sociaux Marocains, also known as Comité Stages et Mobilité des Jeunes Marocains) is a non-profit association founded in 1963, based in Rabat, Morocco, and part of the global ICYE network.

We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

• Information you give us via the application and contact forms: name, email, country, age, program of interest, availability, skills, motivation, and any message you send.
• Technical data collected automatically: device and browser information, IP address, and cookie identifiers.

We use a strictly necessary referral cookie ( csm_ref) to remember which ambassador invited you, for up to 30 days.

With your consent we also use analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) and advertising tools (e.g. Google Ads, and where applicable Meta) to understand traffic and measure campaigns. Non-essential cookies load only after you consent via our cookie banner.

We use your data to process and respond to volunteer applications and inquiries, match you to suitable programs, communicate with you, run and measure outreach, and improve the site. We do not sell your data.

We share data with ICYE network partner organizations strictly to arrange a placement you have applied for, and with service providers who host the site, send our email, and run analytics or ads on our behalf. We require them to protect your data.

As an international exchange organization, your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including within the ICYE network and by our service providers. We take steps to ensure appropriate protection.

We keep application and contact data only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal requirements, then we delete or anonymize it.

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent by emailing contact@icyecsm.org.

We process personal data in line with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, overseen by the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la Protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP).

Our programs and this site are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
